Who am I ?
Hi, I am Vincy and I am an experienced high school Economics and Business Studies tutor. I completed the Bachelor of Economics at the University of New South Wales in 2014 and I am currently studying the Master of Teaching (Secondary) in UNSW. In 2011, I achieved an ATAR of 97.45 and top 2% in Business Studies in the state (96/100). I love teaching and I want to help students to maximise their marks in both Year 11 and HSC Economics/ Business Studies. I also tutor General Mathematics, 2 unit Mathematics and English as a Second Languag at an affordable price.

How do I help my students?
I provide my own Business Studies, Economics, Mathematics or English as a Second Language booklets and worksheets to my students every week. I have developed my own teaching materials. There will be topic test and past paper to reinforce the harder concepts. Also, I will help students with their school assessment. Most importantly, I believe mentoring is essential and I teach my students how to deal with pressure during their HSC year and answer their questions in relation to university courses.

Why do I like teaching?
I like teaching because it is very rewarding. I am very happy and pleased when my stduents understand difficult concepts in Economics or Businesss Sudies and do well in their HSC. I love working with young people and I believe that I can contribute to their academic success as well as being a good mentor and guide them through the HSC. Also, I love to share my experience with them when I was in Year 12. In addition, I also do volunteer work and help students from disadvantaged background at St Vincent de Paul.

Past students results
My past students have achieved outstanding results! Some of them came first in Business Studies or Economics after being taught by me. I teach my students how to study smarter and not harder. Most of my students have achieved a band 6 (90+) in those subjects.
I have tutored students from various schools including Ravenswod School for Girls, Killara High School, St Pius College, Knox Grammar School, Sydney Grammar, St Andrews Catheral School, Asquith Girls High School, Normanhurst Boys High School and Willoughby Girls High School.
